Deeper Dive: ENH

I’ve served several multi-hospital providers across the Midwest, including Northwestern Medicine, Detroit Medical Center, Aurora Health Care and Adventist Health System. But most notable is the full rebranding of Evanston Northwestern Healthcare (now NorthShore University Health System) over a 12-year engagement that evolved from print and TV to digital. For the first time in the Chicago market, our team shifted the focus of healthcare branding from white-coated doctors to the emotional stories of patient recovery. Working directly with the CEO and COO, we raised the brand awareness of ENH from non-existent to 92%. In its first year, the campaign helped lift the occupancy rate of ENH hospitals to No. 1 in the Chicagoland market – even as the average of the Top 25 providers declined.
